Held at Gensler Singapore during World Cities Summit week, the City Advocacy Forum brought together industry voices to explore the relationship between data, density and urban policy. Organised through CVU Southeast Asia by WWM’s Aishwarya Saboo and Nikhita George, the event formed part of the chapter’s wider programme of conversations around the future of cities and vertical urbanism across the region.
Moderated by our Managing Director Shonn Mills, the discussion featured Gwyn Richards of the City of London Corporation, Teryn Zmuda of the World Economic Forum and Lay Bee Yap of Singapore’s Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA). Together, they explored the indicators that should define a successful city - from livability, sustainability and prosperity to resilience and long-term value - and how data can help governments and developers align around better urban outcomes.
